Carson Sander
Carson started at MFRE in 2023 after 6 summers guiding back east in Maine on the Penebscot River and she fits so well into the guide team. She is a master cook as she has been a chef at many venues. She is a keen storyteller and always has a smile on her face and is very solid rowing rafts or paddle guiding them. If you are lucky enough to get on trip with her be sure you ask her about the time she wrestled an alligator in her native Florida or took out a turkey with her spit ball gun. She’s one hell of a shot! In the winters she runs the restaurant at the Peruvian Lodge in Alta, Utah where she takes friends to become Disney Princesses’ with the Chickadees.
