Parker Doane

Parker is from Massachusetts and wasn’t a boater until getting to college in upstate New York where he cut his teeth rafting on the mighty Hudson River. He received his BA at the University of Utah for Outdoor Education and upon graduating decided to try his hand at just about any job that kept winters free for skiing. Finally finding the right job for the off season he now installs Christmas lights in the Salt Lake and Park City area. When he isn’t busy playing on the river or installing lights you can find him skiing the backcountry of the Sawtooth Mountains just outside of Stanley, ID. Parker has worked as a river guide since 2015 and with MFRE since 2019. Parker always has a smile on his face and is also strong as an ox, or at least a 200 pound black bear.
